El Michoacano Taqueria opened its doors in the fall of 2016 with a dream rooted in our family’s heritage. We wanted to create a taquería that brought together the bold, authentic flavors of a Mexican taco shop with the sweetness and creativity of a traditional Mexican ice cream parlor. We are a counter-service restaurant at heart, serving food-truck-style favorites with quality, freshness, and speed.

 

Our family comes from a small town in Michoacán, where many of our salsa recipes and cooking traditions were born. Today, our restaurant is proudly run by the Pérez family, and every dish we serve carries our story, our heart, and our culture.

We started as a true hole-in-the-wall spot small, humble, full of heart. After our remodel, we are happy to offer a more spacious and accommodating environment, but don’t worry
the cozy, home-style atmosphere didn’t go anywhere it just got even cozier. We want our guests to feel at home, unhurried, and comfortable enough to sit, talk, laugh, and enjoy good food with the people they love
